This weekend we went canoeing at Woodruff Scout Camp! We were joined by a bunch of new scouts, and even chose the name for a new patrol, the Kelpies! In between canoeing and making our new patrol official with a name, we knocked out a 5 mile hike & ax yard safety and we had three different scout grub masters, one for each meal, finishing up different cooking requirements. After we had an amazing dinner and a delicious dessert, we packed up our kitchen and went to our tents and got to sleep an extra hour because of daylight savings time. Couldn’t ask for a more fun filled weekend!
