This weekend we went to Bert Adams Scout Camp to set off rockets for the space exploration merit badge. After we ate breakfast we constructed the rockets, with the assistance of copious amounts of hot glue. We returned after a break for lunch to make some final repairs before launching our rockets into the sky, some of which promptly returned to the ground in a spectacular fashion. When we weren’t building or launching rockets, we were playing epic games of hangman on each other’s arms and making chainmail. After the day’s excitement we returned to camp and left the following morning.
