This week the scouts visited Camp Woodruff for summer camp. In the mornings, they attended merit badge classes such as astronomy and communications. The first years went to Woodruff’s mountaineering program as well as the swimming and first aid merit badges. The scouts then visited the nature lodge for lunch with friends and migrated to the trading post to play card games and chat amongst themselves until it was time to get ready for dinner. On Thursday after lunch, most of our scouts went on rafting trips to the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers. What a great week!
